having some tranny problems with my 99 integra ls. any ideas on what it could be?

just purchased this car a few months ago, car is a 5spd manual and was shifting smothly into gear the whole time. Yesterday i noticed a humming noise on the way back to work from lunch, once again still shifting smoothly.

I went to downshift on the highway, and nothing.... wouldnt go into gear. I dogglegged it and made it back to work, left the car there so i didnt cause any addtional damage.

Could this be a syncro problem? low on fluid? etc.... car is not mobile and will not go into any gear. any thoughts? ideas?

hmm...never saw this problem on h-t before. Bump this up for you. I doubt it has anything to do with the fluid. look underneath ur car and see if the shift linkage is bent Way outta shape.

<doesnt know to much about trannys.

 

I call something busted on or near the clutch, keeping is from disengaging all the way.
