Default rim question

I was thinking about selling my 17" ADR's for a smaller 16x7 wheel. Problably Rota GT3's or something similar in a black finish with a chrome or mirror finished lip. The rims I have are custom gunmetallic painted with a "polished" lip and Bridgestone Potenza RE92's. I will post pics later on today. But anyway I just wanted some feedback on what I should do. Thanks

What colour is your car? Get the GT3s colour coded to match your body work. Or paint them a mad colour like orange or green

i think for honda d17 sohc didn't have enought hp begin to pull a heavy 16-17 inch rim+tires i will say try to play with 15inch and drag/street radial tires will work great.

Oh, if that's your question, then i say 17s. I think.
Sometimes i look at EM2s on 16s and think that it looks just right, but others i lean towards 17s.

Yeah, go for 17s. Or 16s... oh, i don't know, pick whatever you think looks the best, not what everyone else thinks looks best.

i would go w/ the 17's .....i think it fits the car better than 16's ....but i also think if you paint the housing in ur headlights black then it would look really good with a silver car and ur black lip (or CF i cant tell)

I don't know how to comment to this, so I'll just make a statement.

16" Desmond Regamaster EVO - 12lbs

That's about 4-6lbs lighter than any of the stock/HFP rim options available for the EM2. Don't post, if you don't know anything about rims.

Desmonds are also $$$$, but on the other hand, TE37's are around 12lbs, and Slipstreams are like 14ish, both are way lighter than most 15" rims.

Very true. Desmonds could set you back a house mortgage, but I was just using them to make a point.
