Default Doing a polished lip

I have a set of hx rims that I have painted black. Well, I am getting sick of looking at them so i wanted to do something different. I want to go red with a polished lip. My question is how would i go about doing the lip?

Is there a product I would use? When i paint my rims I use aircraft stripper and that gets the paint all the way down to the silver. Should I leave it like that? Ideas and suggestions would be cool. Thanks

Just wondering how other people would do a polished lip? Or if my idea is the right way?
