What Does it Take to Install Springs?

What Does it Take to Install Springs?
Is this something that con be done in my garage with a Helm's manual and some tools or is it best left to a shop?

1. jack
2. jack stands
3. 19mm socket, 17mm open end, 17mm socket, 14mm socket.. 12mm socket (strut tower bar).. I think that's it.. oh a screwdriver to push bolt through the bushing
4. allen head tool for shock piston and whatever size open end that is
5. lots of beer.
A spring compressor is absolutely not needed for ITR springs.
