Clickin from left and right turns??
I have this ordeal where my right wheel seems to click whenever I make sharp turns, like at a stop sign or light. No other time does the car produce the strange clicking. The click seems to go at the pace of when the wheel is turning so I might assume that every time the wheel rotates once, there is one click. I've read a little bit about similar issues but I may have different variables that can change the conclusion.
From the info I've read, it might be a cv axle but if I'm not wrong, they are the same as the transaxle rod? which both front ones were replaced withing a 1/2 year. I'm not to certain but i would think so because the CV boots look nice and new.
2 other possibilities:
-My brake rotors are pretty warped. I haven't actually seen them but I can feel it when i use the brakes and my pads are thick. Could it be from any contact with anything? If it was I would think it would be scraping.
-My tie rod end boot is leaking grease on the right side. Not sure what the negative effects of that would be...
Any input would be great since you know.. I'm not in the mood to die from a dysfunctional car..

i have the same problem except the boot is torn but no grease leaking and it's on the driver side. I have new axels not even a year old, the brake are all new, the only thing i heard it could be is the CV joint needs grease not to sure i haven't looked
Mind did the same thing, I thought it was the CV joints, but it turned out to be my Axles. The part cost 90.00, and labor was only like 70 bucks... dunno if thats your problem tho goodluck
I had this happen to my car recently and took it too my mechanic to get it fixed, I forget to ask him what caused the problem, but whatever he did too it fixed it. I will ask him when I get a chance and post what he tells me.

Unlikely that the brake rotor could cause a 'clicking' noise. It would be more of a rubbing sound against the pads, and would have no regard to turning sharply. Also, the axle and cv joint are sold and installed as one component.

If the cv boot is not propery sealed around the shaft, or has any tears or holes in it, dust and dirt can find its way in there, and very quickly grind away your new axle/joint. Get that boot sealed, or purchase a new boot as soon as you can.

so am I right about the cv axle being the same as the transaxle rods? cause like I said my boot is nice and clean and it seems like that what it would be since it goes right into the transmission. I'm hoping it is cause I just had them replaced after one snapping and they put it in wrong..

Yep. It's the axle itself, followed by the joint, then a 'stub' on the other side of the joint... roughly put.

alwyas thougth when you turn and it clicks then its the axles.. and then if it makes sounds while going straight its the bearings.. anyways when mine clicked it was most def the axles.
Wheel bearings have a constant droning sound that coincides with your speed, similar to the sound when driving over some bridges, or driving over the ribs that line the sides of some interstates to keep drivers awake.
Yeah, I've kinda come to that conclusion but what sucks is I recently got new CV axles put in. One of them snapped when driving out of a parking lot and I got both of them replaced. Maybe they installed it wrong or something but I'm kinda annoyed. Luckily I believe the part is still under warranty so we shall see. It better not be much to get a CV axled replaced, because I know it doesn't involve much.
i didnt read the whole post, but mabey might wanan check bushings.. b.c i just installed new cv's and when i turn it kinda creaks and i belive its b.c my bushings are all torn and theres no more grease so ill have to get some new ones.. just a thought.
yes sir, i knwo when i took them off i tore them and didtn have any new ones to replace, so the grease has leaked out on all of them so its creaking/squeaking, not really click, but still worth a shot to check to see if they are good and still have grease in them. Not saying im right though just a shot..
