The heater Core is located under the dash near the firewall, On the passenger side if im not mistaken.

Yes, I pulled it on an old 77 accord and it sucked abundantly. I had to take the whole dash off. On my 87 I had to replace the fan motor for the A/C and that only required removing the glove box, so you might try taking out the glove box first and see if you can get to it. Make sure you have something to catch the antifreeze in when you pull the core.
WAIT STOP; before you go yanking out the heater core, check that the temp control **** isn't stripped or broken, then go under the hood at the passenger side fire wall and be sure the heater valve moves when someone turns the temp ****. There is linkage under the dash/passenger side floor board area that might be unhooked as well.
You are not asking a 'stupid' question, but unfortunately you got 2 stupid responses.

I would not say he got 2 stupid responses. He asked where the heater core was located and these guys helped him out. It would be different if he asked what the problem may be. Then they could have given him other options like you did.
