Installed 68mm t.b. and would not run right idle at 2k and would bog when revved on stock motor!!!!!
I put it on ported it out put it on and it would bog like no other... I am obd0 I used the map on the firewall and got rid of the the purge plug ......DO I have to change manifolds to run the t.b.

That sounds more like a riddle.
What kind of tb is it?
Are you throwing a code 7?
Did you change only the TB?
A 68mm TB is pretty much useless on a stock manifold

it's a holley t.b. yea I am throwing the tps code 7 and yes only the mani I want to get a aebs but I am just curious if it is going to run like it even if I change mani
the obd0 mani has alot of stuff for idle and vaccum I capped it all off and plug the map sensor in the t.b.

Adjust the TPS (provididng that there was no code 7 before the TB swap)
If you get the AEBS, you'll still need to match the opening to 68mm.
Capping the vacuums off is fine, make sure there are no leaks.

aight so capping the lines is fine, I am going to try it again and adjust the tps, I just hope it runs right
running 310cc and 255 pump and everything else is stock...?

YOu know you just posted that 4 times in a row??
Put your stock injectors back in to help solve your problem.

When I installed my TB I had to readjust the throttle cable to put more slack in it so that the TB would close and make the idle contact. My cable was holding it open so it "idled" at 2500 RPM! TPS should have already been adjusted by the manufacturer or whomever ported it.
310 injectors and a 255 lph fuel pump and a throttle body, talk about workin' ****-eyed. thats like buying new windsheild wipers for a broken winsheild.
HOLY OVERKILL X2
HOLY OVERKILL X2
well I already had alot of it lying around I was trying to use it............how did I do it backwards give me some pointers or direction ..........I have cam gears and the 310cc and the 255 pump and I am getting a dc 4-1 header and world sport catback, after that I am trying to buy aebs mani and then go obd1 and get it tuned and then have some fun .............let me know if I am going in the wrong direction..?
why it runs better with it, I have to learn I need reasons what can it do .....everybody just says stock whats that mean am I suppost to just leave it alone.........
it runs better with it?
it bogs at 2k RPMS dude. did your motor bog at like 1500 rpms before?

nah I already had the injectors and the intake on, and it ran fine...When I tried porting the manifold for the 68mm t.b. and then mounted it, it was off I tried adjusting the tps and got it down to 14oorpm and would not go lower.. checked t. cable and that was not the problem only thing was when it was running with it. it would sound like it was getting to much air so I put stock back on and now I cant get rid of the 2k rpm and I tried adjusting the tps, and the t cable dont know ????
the idle is at 11oorpm when warming up
and then it stays at like 2k once at operating temp..
I wanted to use the fuel pump cause I have a 15 yr old one and dont know if it works properly.... I replaced everything else fuel filter, gaskets, pumps, starter alt. I am just trying do it right....

You need to go back to stock because...
your throttle body is way to big for your engine, it is not port matched to your throttle body.
you are running 310 injectors on a stock computer? yeah thats not going to work.
there is no reason for you to go with a walbro 255 with a basically stock engine.
So basically do some research before you start slapping parts on that will make you slower.

HOLY OVERKILL X2</TD></TR></TABLE> LOL!!!!! yeah man, you would be better off going back to stock, you dont need those mods for a stock engine.

im going to have to side with the majority and say tha you car is much better off in stock trim than with the parts you have installed. those are all unnecessary untill you make some serious mods to the engine...
rock it stock buddy

Check your fitv and iacv. Clean the iacv, it might help a little and make sure your coolant system is completely bled out. Also sounds like you have a vacuum leak somewhere.
