I bought a skunk2 intake manifold. UPon starting after installation, the car immediately starts to rev higher and higher and i i shut it off. I checked everything about 36 times and i cant figure it out. Need Help and suggestions???

happened to me when i installed mine, its going to be the throttle cable, check it, it's hitting the hood,

No the hood is up when this happens!

 

Check all your vacuum and coolant lines. Also check to make sure you installed the correct plug to the correct sensor, i.e. tps, map sensor, etc.

 

Also what hose goes on the little secondary coolant line fitting located on the mounting bracket mine only had the larger hose and with everything hooked up (CORRECTLY NOW, THANKS) the little secondary one doesnt have anything to connect too and i have already bypassed the hose to the intake when i installed my CAI. Do i jUst plug it?

any leaky gaskets?

 

start the car and spray carb cleaner aruond the area. you have a vaccumm leak

 

Happened On Mine Also, Just Adjust Both Idle Control Screws OR Search For "Surging Idle" You'll Find All Diferent Kinds Of Threads
