30k on my azenis!! is this rare??
so when i first got my falken azenis about two years ago, i had 49k on my DA. the car is lowered and i have a camber kit on it, and its aligned damn near perfectly. ive done many burnouts and used them at the track many times. just rotated them every 6-7k, and constantly checked air pressure. did i just get a rare set of tires or is this semi-normal? i was told they are a 16k tire, and ive nearly doubled that mileage and havent been very easy on them.
to the "old style" azenis!

not when i drive the car, it hasnt really seen the colder months, and most the miles are put on during the hotter summer months... i wonder if i can get a prize or something from falken?
yea azenis will get alot of miles sometimes in your case more than 25k, and all tires if everyone just keeps up with alignement, rotations, balance, AIR PRESSURE! if you have low air pressure you will wear the inside and outside shoulder out. too much air will wear the center fast as hell especialy if its hot.
i got the new 615's i'll make sure to tell you guys how many miles i get here in texas hot weather.

Do you tires have more highway miles than city miles? I have the Falken 512 that have 90% highway miles and they look almost brand new even with 10k miles on them. My mom also has the same tires on her car, which sees all city driving, and her front tires almost bald with only 15k.

a good mix of all. but a good amount of hard driving, tires spinning thru first and second. not to mention on a 2800 pound car. i dont do hard cornering or auto-x cuz
1- its a DA. and body roll owns me
2- im a ***** when it comes to high speed corners.
3- i have WAY too much money time and love in all my body work and paint to risk crashing it.
4- not really my thing

the ZIEX-512 is not an azenis, it is a crappy all-season tire. If your mom has bald ones on the front of her car after 15K chances are there is something wrong with her driving habbits or the car itself (aligngment). Why are you using all-season tires in California anyways?
To the OP: What tires do you have....the RT-215 or the RT-615?
