Default I guess I forgot to say hi :p

Hi, I am a new owner, well within two or so months. My name is Joe and I already made a few posts but I thought I should introduce myself. My car is an 01 and I bought it with 11,500 miles so I am pretty happy with how clean it is. I decided to buy an S2000 because after building a Ford Mustang for two years I realized it would be far to crazy to drive on the streets. Now it's up for sale and I can enjoy a quiter ride... etc.
and still take this car to track days at the same time. I plan on modifying the suspension, wheels and a few small things. I really do enjoy driving this car every day though and I am sure everyone here is happy too. well that's about it, I look forward to talking and meeting up with some fellow owners in the Boston area!

Thanks, I actually just finished putting the carbon fiber cover over the radiator today but I am not happy with the fitment because the hood has trouble closing now. I painted the radiator brackets a semi-gloss black to match and that came out good looking. I may take the plate off now, well see

very clean 11k miles on a 01 the guy never drove that car!

also, don't mean to bash your mod there but (too me) that radiator plate is choking the air intake, my suggestion... cut a whole on the left (of the plate) to get some cooler air in there from the front bumper, just my opinion

I like to hear opinions because I can learn from what people have to say. I plan on buying a comptech cold air intake once someone stocks them again. So far by the butt meter the car feels the same. hopfully with this mod it wont effect the comptech intake. What do you guys think? I paid $18,600. by the way. Thanks Joe.

Thanks, I love all sorts of cars. Not just Mustangs like most mustang owners do. I do prefer cars that handle over straight line though.

as for the comptech intake.. you still need to cut your plate in order to fit it (intake has a scoop going from top of radiator, into the back of the front bumper)

In MHO no air intake you put in there is goin to give you "significant" gains in power to start with, you'll be better off spending your money in an exhoust and /or Emanege system (if power gains is what your looking for) and stick with OEM air box... my .2 cents
