Ok, heres the deal. I have a eh3. The motor mounts are pretty much shot. My friend had bought some poly inserts for his da9 a few months ago, then just bought new poly mounts and put the inserts in his garage. He said I could take what I could use.

Which mounts are interchangeable, (just plan on using the inserts) Just the tranny mount and the driver side mount right?

Also.. Where is the best place to jack the motor up with a floor jack? So I can get a mount out.. My friend said to put a 2x10 thats like 2 feet long on the jack.. then jack up on the oil pan.. This the right idea?

that will work just make sure not to dent the oil pan.
save up some money and buy innovative/hasport motor mounts. high quality ,lifetime warranty you will never have to buy another set of mounts again

 

I woulllld.. but next year I plan on buying a better shell / k swapping it.. This is just to get me by for now.. I leave for the navy in 8 months.. no reason to keep a d series

 

very true. i like the b series with everyone going to k it makes parts very cheap

if its just a beater car you will be fine with the inserts
