Default Skunk2 Exhaust Now Available

$650 shipped still seems a little steep compared to Greddy.

Apparently I'm really impatient, so I guess I'm just going to put my I/H/E setup in first; before the SC. Thinking about it, I'd rather have all that setup before the SC any ways, and it's going to be the same amount of time to save for it all, and I have the money for I/E right now!

So, I think I'm buying the Skunk2 exhaust and K&N SRI on the 15th (just waiting for payday so I have a larger buffer instead of draining my car fun savings...) and will be installing it the weekend after I recieve it - one at a time probably. I'm thinking of Dyno'ing it before and after, and I think it will be the same place as j.fuggi did his Dyno after the SC. They have the best rates here in the Denver area even though they are 30 min away from me...

So, I will be taking pics and some video clips with my camera during and after the install. I hope to have it all before I take a trip at the end of the month.

As a side note - I really hope Comptech comes through with an awesome header before I have enough for the SC...

I dont like the sound. Sounds like a Supercharged Gocart instead of a car.

If you need a hand installing the kit let me know

And yes please dyno before and after. I wish I had, but I got the kit sooner than I expected and didn't want to waste any time.

You should come down to the Sunday meets next weekend!

Skunk2 has always been a little loud for my taste. I hope RSR will consider making an exhaust for Si's !!

Thankfully I have a co-worker/friend in Parker that has a air compressor and lots of tools to help me out, but thanks though!

Yeah, I'm really wondering what the stock whp/wtq is here at the mile high, so I will be sure to make 2 appointments, one right after the other to try to keep the results in the same ballpark.

Er, how am I missing these meet notices? Is there a Denver resource that has all this posted?

Oh and...

Skunk2 is a little loud, but the silencer insert will be living in my trunk for highway trips over 50mi. Also, I do plan on going to SC, and I like the 2.75" piping all the way through. I thought about AJP's 3" exhaust (which is very attractive looking from pics on their site) but I think that application is probably unnecessary for what I plan on doing with my car.
