Hey guys...I just saw this post on another S2000 site and figured some of you who like to go to tracks might be interested. I'm planning on signing up tomorrow night!

Laguna Seca here we come!!!

Come on out to Laguna Seca with Leadfoot Adventures and T.E.A.M Racing
on Thursday Nov 2nd for a great track day at this world-famous road
course! T.E.A.M. and Leadfoot Adventures are known for their low cost -
high value events, and this one is no exception! Registration is only
$285 and will open at Motorsportsreg.com Wednesday night. This
event is expected to fill up quickly since Laguna events are hard to get
into and usually cost over $300 (sometimes way more than that!)

As always, breakfast in the morning and bottled water all day are
included at no extra charge. All drivers are welcome to attend the morning
classroom session as well as the instructional novice and intermediate
download sessions throughout the day. Each driver will receive at
least 5 run sessions and will be sharing the track with other drivers of
similar experience/skill (novice, intermediate, advanced.)
Gates open at 6:45. See ya at the track ! :D

I didn't look at the name. I just saw the post and got all excited because I've been wanting to run this track and this is perfect timing for me.

 

have fun out there and be careful if it rains or the track is wet, seen one too many cars get tangled up in the walls. If it's your first time there, make sure you follow someone that has driven there before and knows the track well.

 

Yeah, I ran with Trackmasters back in February and it rained all morning. I got completely sideways 3 times on my first warm-up lap and a Porsche 911 Turbo slammed the wall mid-morning damaging the entire left side of the car.

 

My brother and his friend are going to be flying in from Philadelphia and rent some Boxster S to join me at the track.

I didn't particularly like this guys (the owner of the track company) arrogant first posts on here, but that is a pretty good price for 'Seca.

Have fun and be careful out there, that track can be dangerous if you drive it hard.

That's understandable. I met the owner last year at S2KCA's national event in Vegas and he was my age and quite a nice guy. I ran their Streets of Willow events 2 weeks ago and it was a blast. I guess the written word can easily be misinterpreted. But anyway, their registration is open and here's the link:
