abs situation

I drive a 94 integra ls. I know that the abs does not work. the orange abs light is on and wont go off. Is it safe to just take out the abs system? will i need to do anything to the regular braking system?

take it out if you want to brake in a straight line. abs is for swerving braking. something like that.
