that's a pretty powerful statement in light of others with experience...such as:

How do you know that the OP's higher compression isn't producing more crankcase pressure than stock to warrant a system such as this?

I thought i would notice some change putting it on and when i finally did i waited a couple of months but did not see any change, my opionion is it did nothing. I left it on because i did not see a point to take it off as it did the same (in my own experiance) as the stock hose connected to the intake when it was connected.
I guess it could do something but for me i havnt noticed anything.. itr1244 remember i dont want to put you off installing the breather kit. what i did was walk in my auto parts shop and pucked up a small cone size breather (without a hose connection) and just mounted it on the tip of my crankcase. not sure if i installed it wrong maybe thats why i didd not notice anything if not much. So yea it was not a kit, just a breather filter. Good luck itr1244 and if you notice a change i will be interested in the comments of it. I did not intend putting anyone off ok. Just from my experiance. And i am real sorry.
it depends on what is actually causing the oil burning problem. you dont have to get a "kit", they are simple to make and will save you quite a bit of money.

True, doing it myself might save me a few bucks but likely cost me a lot more time... I also don't want my engine bay to start looking like some school project.
The Endyne breather seems to be the most complete kit out there and it uses quality parts.

I guess it just depends how you go about it. you cant even really see my catch can as its tucked behind my fuel filter next to the battery and painted black. Depends on the setup though.
