Default Throttle Body Recommendation?

I was looking around to see what kind of throttle body might improve better air flow than stock at a 300-400 dollar budget, then I came across Edelbrock's Performer X 65mm throttle body http://www.edelbrock.com/sport...shtml. Are Edelbrock any good in improving air flow performance? Anyone has it installed? or is there other throttle bodies suggested?

minimal gains at best with a larger TB, unless the motor has been heavily modified or turbo. money better spent on other upgrades or, dare I say it, HPDE events.

On my old setup I used a BBK 70mm TB. I dont recommend it. After awhile the TB started to stick badly and it was a pain in the *** to drive.

The damn things will not idle in most cars... We have had two and both the shaft was made so loose the air went right around it..
