HELP!!! Brake again
I wish somebody would have told me how difficult it is to remove brakes lines from the master cylinder. Took me an hour and a half just to remove one 10mm with a flare wrench.
Anyway was getting ready to bench bleed my MC minus the bench. I have a solo bleeder kit. My PROBLEM, one of the screw that comes with the new master cylinder felll under the hood somewhere, its dark now and I cant see anything. This makes the bleeder kit pointless.
I'm going to have to block one hole with my hand and attach the rest of the kit. My question is how do I know air is not entering from the side my hand is covering?

It took me 1 minute to remove both of them. You must have no arms and use your teeth to turn the wrench or something . . .

Don't worry about it too much. Bench bleeding isn't 100% required - it only saves time and brake fluid. If you don't bench bleed the MC, you'll just spend more time bleeding the system out. In the hour you waited to bump this thread, you could have been finished.
