Does anyone know where I can find a DIY guide for replacing a brake master cylinder, I found the bench bleeding one but nothing on how to remove it from the car in the first place. Thanks

Re: Brake master cylinder replacement (mixmastabob)
Im no pro here but my dad (mechanic) and I did this to my car. To remove the brake master cylinder use a flare wrench (I think thats what its called, cant remember the size) to remove the brake lines from the cylinder. Then there should be 2 bolts that go into the brake booster holding the cylinder to it that need to be removed. After you get those off you can just pull the Master cylinder out of the brake booster.
Not sure if this is correct, but Im trying to remember while giving you some help! Been a while since I changed mine.

Re: Brake master cylinder replacement (madcrossover)
10mm line wrench for the brake lines coming off the Master Cylinder, then a 12mm socket or wrench to remove the two nuts on the brake booster.
Then your ready to pull it off, make sure the gasket behind the master cylinder stays in place inside the Brake booster.
