would you lower your ITR without mod your suspension, just spring only!

lower the itr by spring only, any harm, i want look only... therefore no need the good shocks...

It shouldn't be a problem if you get quality springs. Understand though that with new springs that may be stiffer and lower the car your stock shocks will probably not last as long as they normally would...
You can also lower the car with KONI yellows + stock springs....
For looks and handling!!!

hmm, the Koni yellow shocks? isnt that the racing shocks? hmm, I basiclly want look and i only drive the car as daily driving, therefore not much performance need it....

I have a newbie question to ask, after hearing this answer so many times... Wouldn't springs that are less stiff than stock allow more travel for the shock and wear it out faster? I would think a stiffer spring wouldn't allow as much, as the spring would be taking up more of the suspension load?
You should put a stiffer damper on a stiffer spring, otherwise the damper can't "follow" (dampen) the stiffer spring quick enough. It's very bad for the handling, even for daily driving!!!
H&R sports springs work just fine with stock shocks, and the drop looks real good, too.

You're thinking of the H&R OEM springs, which lower .75. The Sports lower 1.75 front and 1.5 rear. More info here: http://www.hrsprings.com/fcgi-bin/qu...nsionquery.cfg
Do not get the race springs with stock shocks. It looks too low and the handeling is terrible (I know a guy who made that mistake). And no, I have no camber kit, and I don't need one.

IMO I think that their are enough affordable and quality aftermarket shocks and coilovers setups that an ITR owner can go ahead and do the suspension right.

Im running the H&R Sports as well with the stock shocks. I have yet to notice any problems in handling and its been about 9months. I still want to go lower though, but I plan to do that with a full setup. I wouldnt go any lower/stiffer than the H&R Sports on the stock shocks.
Actually, I think the "ITR" specific H&R Sports are 1.5"F and 1.3"R. Correct me if I'm wrong.
