Default Launching 500+whp or 2-Step/Launch control Alternatives?

Well I finally got my car tuned and I'm almost ready to hit the track. The car was tuned on crome so i don't have a ign cut rev limiter.

I don't want to have to buy an msd box and 2 step just to get that feature so I was wondering what others are using to get out the hole or what "strategies" they use without any aided launch control.

I'm not 100% sure on the tires ill be going out on but it'll probably be a 24.5x8x13 if i go out on slicks.

As of now the car is on GC's and tokico blue shocks, no traction bars or anything fancy and it's an open diff GSR trans. It's a 96 EX coupe. Mostly full interior... back seats, spare, will be removed but the car still has ps but no a/c

Any help/advice will be appreciated.

preload and rev it between 8000-9000 and let go of the ebrake!

just act like you are at a stop like slowly leave off the clutch, but if you want to good time you are going to have to rev it up a lot

i think just the msd 2 step module by itself is ****** lame.... barely build boost... you need something to retard timing so it build boost faster......

I build 7-9psi on my GT4088 (NON R Version) with just an MSD 2 Step. How much boost you want

WOW!!!! I was spinning at 7psi on the 26x10 Goodyears! I could of hooked up the timing retard on the MSD also, but figured I had enough boost.
