Default Need some serious alarm help. HELP HELP HELP SOS SOS SOS

I bought my Lude about 5 months ago and it has a Clifford alarm on it, I have looked for a valet switch before but did not see one. Well today I busted my only alarm pad at work and my car is in my garage with the wheels off, doors locked, and alarm set.

My question is, how can I turn the alarm off after I use my spare key to get in the car? I need help pretty quck as I have to drive it to work tomorrow.

If nothing else I guess I can start ripping the alarm apart, I hate to do this because it is a good alarm but I might have no choice.

BTW I have no idea what model it is.

Well, you're going to need to get a model number before we can give you real help.

If you can get to the brain, DEI units usually have a blue plug for the valet switch. You could look for the blue plug and follow that wire back to the valet switch. If the installer didn't put it in, you're kindof screwed.

Your other alternative is to pull the main power fuse or the main wiring harness from the unit until you can figure it out...

If I unhook the batt and find the switch would I be able to deactivate the alarm with it when I hook the batt back up?

no, Your best bet is to run to a local stereo shop and see if the have a spare dei valet switch just laying around. Should cost no more then 1 to 3 buxs. plug it in they shut off the alarm. Hey if you found the brain what the model number.
