Default #853 Interior Stripped - Help...

Hey All...

Just as the title says, my ITR was broken into last month in Long Beach (during a vacation) They basically took all my seats, entire center console/brake/shifter area, and steering wheel. I HATE LBC! I'm posting to see if anyone knows anyone they recommend asking that has legit, excellent condition OEM stuff. I'm working with my body shop who just realized it's harder to look for ITR stuff than the Ferraris he's used to. My interior was spotless which makes it worse since as most of you know insurance wants to replace it w/ used stuff. I won't mind as much if the stuff is in great condition. I don't want to vent more than I have to ... I just need help to get my car back in shape ASAP - this is my only car. Thanks ahead of time for any help!

P.S. If anyone has bought or seen anyone selling any ITR interior pieces in or near Long Beach, CA - please let me know.

that sucks dude.. thieves are ****
i couldn't imagine losing my DD and my way to work because thieves can't make money an honest way

check ebay or any underground auctions for your stuff
it would be probably difficult for the thieves to get away with selling it on HT

Hey really sorry about all that

Theives

If you have the money just order brand new parts from honda http://www.acuraparts247.com/catdisplay.jsp

Or like circa said, check ebay and so on, will take a while to find good condition ITR interior.

you just missed an auction lastweek on ebay that had an entire itr interior on auction. came from a crashed R with only 13K miles..ended at about 1200. super cheap if you ask me. i would just take the money your insurance gives you and piece the interior back together finding the cleanest parts from differenct sources.

Be careful insurance doesn't total it. A lot of those pieces are pricy. $500 for just the carbon pieces

Yeah, I'm trying to work with them on this b/c I don't want it salvaged. This all sucks b/c I took such great care of this car over the last 8 years and some A-hole in one night can change all that. At this point since, I'm trying to look for the JDM Black Recaros w/ Red stich, though they seem harder to find then the All Reds.

Thanks for all the replies guys...keep them coming, I'm definitely going to look all these up for my best options.

Where in Long Beach was your car broken into? I own an R and I live in LBC. Just want to be aware of the area I should stay away from.

Near 7th St. and Obispo ... It seems the only safe place (while I was stuck there since my car was INOP) was anything close to the actual ocean (ARGH).

Before this I would've never thought that replacing the Interior of a car was more work locating than the Exterior - damn having a limited car I love.

when my interior/ECU/fuel injectors/rail was stolen, new OEM replacement would have cost me almost 13K. that = totalled by insurance co and I purchased it back and replaced the parts with all used stuff.
