First some notes about this installation. This bar has no flexible joints, and the fitment can be described as EXACT. So what does that mean? If your S2K has been in a frontal accident, you may have some aligment issues with this brace depending on how good your body shop was at aligning the frame back to stock specifications.
Here is what we are putting in:

Disclaimer: This is just a guide to help you install the brace, please dont PM me blaming me for your mishaps if they occur. Some steps were omitted in this write up, and is based on the assumption that you have a decent mechanical sense not to mention a good metric tool set. NRG recommends professional install, but to those of us that are inclined, on to the install
First step, get a buddy to help, trust me, you will need him in the later steps
Here is what we started with, wow what a pretty Cusco bar

Jack up the car, it doesnt have to be too high, and to be safe put stands under there. Next remove the nuts holding the shock tower like so.

Next remove the entire airbox, including the arm

Once the airbox is removed look down and you will see the steering rack. You will notice 2 large bolts holding down the rear side of the rack. Remove those.
Passenger side

Driver's side

Assemble the bar loosely and please note that the X part of the bar is not the same on both sides. The X part is very slightly offset to lean towards the motor. Its not very noticeable to the eye, but once bolted down you will see that it leans towards the motor. If it leans towards the bumper, flip it around.

Now here comes the fun part where you will use your buddy, remember to buy him a beer afterwards.
Drop the bar in place for a test fit. Thread in the steering rack bolts that you have previously removed, but do not tighten because you will need lots of play when trying to put the upper part of the bar on.

Now that you have the bottom part loosely on, now its time for the top. Have your buddy go on the other side. You will notice that it seems like both of the shock tower mounts dont want to line up. Push and pull with your buddy to get it as close as possible.

At this point, the ends of the upper bar is a pain in the *** to get over the shock tower bolts right? Here is the trick, which I why I told you to jack up the car a little. Step on the rim like pictured below. This will drop those shock tower bolts down enough for you to line up the ends of the bar.

Now that everything is lined up, bolt everything down.

Put the airbox back on and take a look at the finished product

Here is the finished product on another S2000 that we did

Hey guys, thanks for the replies. I have not test driven the car yet, cuz its not mine! I just put the bar on for him. He said that next time he comes I can test it out in at turnbull canyon, which is minutes away from me.
Sorry the cusco unit is already sold!
