blowing greyish smoke when front end is lower then the rear. (downhill)
So when i'm driving downhill i notice i'm blowing alot of greyish smoke. Any ideas what it maybe? I'm hopeing it's just the headgasket. thanks
no clue, would make sense it was the head gasket, but i would think u would experience smoking all the time, i did, idk i would tear apart and take a look, smoking is usually caused by head gaskets, warped head/block, pistons rings are toast, or even running to much oil, and just having to many miles, ive seen some cars smoke pretty good, i say rebuild time
Mine did the same and after replacing the valve seals no more smoke. It only really smokes as you go down a hill and giving it gas to go back up the hill or just to straighten out.
It`s compression building up in the engine and oil is being sucked past the valve seals into the cylinders. Replace them and it should solve your problem.

Okay thanks for the replys. I'll check into it this weekend
-edit Just when i'm pointing downward. I could be stoped and it will be smoking just as long as it's at that angle.
