Default H22A JUNKIES NEED YOUR HELP

hey sup guys, my name is J.r im new here. im a vw guy so be patience with me, i currently added this 94 accord with a 93 H22A swap to the collections. the car a minor problems, when starts the car it idle really rough bouncing up and down, and when it get warmed up when you drive it, car dies. what do you think? anyone have experienced this issues before? and yes check engine light on....please help thanks

i called the dealer for the IACV but cant even help me becuase its japan motor, anyone would where i can get one?

JDM Motor is same as USDM motor...Ask for a 94 Prelude VTEC... Do you know how to pull the code?

its been awhile, ive done it with paper clip once, but if you can refresh my memory, would be coo.

thanks guys...

well i i got rid of the check engine light found out that 3 different vaccum hoses were not in place...plugged it back in...check engine light went off..i also pulled the iacv valve and cleaned it with carb cleaner...

the only thing is the car still idles bad, UP's and DOWNS's and eventually dies...couple people told me, to check the fast idle thermal valve? any suggestions please?

Can also be Air in the coolant system...My F series did it...check all of your coolant lines and make sure they are all actualy ran and that you have little/no air in your system.

You may also need to adjust the idle set screw on the throttle body - this happened to me before and i ended up turning in the screw about a 1/2 turn and my bouncing idle was gone

well last night i was working on it and found out that 4 vaccum lines were crossovers....i started it this morning she seemed to idle a lil bit ok...but i had to go work...so imma find out tonight again......

so i started the car today when i got home, and idle ok but seem to run 3 cylinders only....any suggestions...sound like subaru....

clean your iavc with break cleaner i suggest the breaklean brand is the best.(green can) clean in both holes until all **** comes out and buy a new black rubber seel from dealership will cost less than 3 bucks. it can be from an f series h series b series. all the rubber seel are the same. it will never do it again if done right. the seel is the important part. get it!!!!!!!

got some codes

1. IACV
2. KNOCK sensor

clean and reseal IACV working good...

now im trying to figure out is the knock sensor, i thought on hondas theres only one wire on the knock sensor RED/BLUE...on this one there are 2 wires red and black? anyone?

I'm willing to bet half of the stuff in your engine bay isn't wired/connected correctly... It sounds like whoever did the engine install before you bought it didn't know what they were doing.

check the egr as well. mine did this same thing and i have problems with the egr valve. just get a piece or metal to block the egr and bolt the valve back down. this way you shouldnt throw a code.
