hi.. i got an 01 integra Gs .. i just put back together that got stripped before ... it have a 94 ls in there ~~ with a jumper haness and a 0bd1 integra ecu is a 5 speed ~ .. this happen to be like 3 time before .. i was driving around .. suddenly the car die out and will no start ~~ but crank..so i just keep pumping on the gas pedal and cranking . .of a little while ...it start again .... my question is what's causing the car not to start ... .....thankyou ~~ very much for any of your help.....

 

maybe ur fuel pump is going out, or there a sensor that cut out teh fuel. check all your wiring again... since u got a jumper wires....

make sure ur fuel filter is not clogg .....is check engine light on at all....

also can be bad gas..

 

i have the same problem. try check you main relay. that could be the problem.

it could be the timing belt.

 

jump the service connector and see if its throwing any codes. check if your jumper harness has any loose connections or broken pins. and when was the last time you replaced your ignition components? could be ignition problems. and do you have an alarm?

 

yes i have alarm ~ but i dont think the alarm could cause that ~ just to make sure ~~~ the car does crank but it will not start ~when the alarm is arm it will not turn at all ~

kinda the same thing happened to me. i had my starter replaced after it going bad and a few days later my car wouldnt start. i would just keep cranking. so i tow it to a mechanic and he said that my timing belt jumped a couple teeth. he said that if it jumped anymore i wouldve had a bent valve.

 

is the distributor cap cracked?

 

don't scary me with the timing belt ~~ if it is ~ lol ~ i gona be have the car sitting for 2 month before i can come up with the cash ~ to fix it ~

 

check for spark, then check for fuel.

my gsr died on me the other day. the little hose from the fuel pump to the fuel line in the tank ruptured and i was getting no fuel.

how to check if the timing belt jump teeth ~ i want to make sure is not about the timing belt cause i just put it back not so long ago ~ ... without change timing belt ~ (lol ~ no cash for it )

 

do i have to takeout all the cover and check the mark ~ thankyou
