Default FS: D16Y7 Shortblock, dirt cheap, rusted walls, need to sell ASAP. So. Cal

My buddy left this block outside for probably 2yrs w/ a trash bag over it. I'm going to assume the fluid inside the cylinder is ATF. Off a 96 Civic w/ 75k miles or so. Everything pictured can be yours. No Joke! One man's trash can be your treasure. $75 OBO

what i usually do with a trashed block is strip it down (pull flywheel, oil pan, flywheel inspection cover, any mounts, any sensors, crank, rods, pistons, etc.) and then take what is left (the bare aluminum block) to the scrap yard to get some money out of it.

depends how much it weighs and the price of aluminum (which has been high lately) and if you don't keep the flywheel, rods, pistons, etc., just sell them off at $5-$10 each. voila, you will probably end up with more than the $75 you were originally asking for this block with just a little time invested.
