What wire for Tig welder 60 amps? Electrians or people with experience

Default What wire for Tig welder 60 amps? Electrians or people with experience

I got a PT185 the specs are 60 amps 220 single phase. Lincoin says 8 gu but i dunno.

I have to travel 50-60 feet from my breaker box whats the best gauge of wire.

it should be 6 gage, but if lincoln says 8, i'd use it, copper is very expensive right now, probably close to 2$/ft. for 8ga.
