89 CRX DX Buildup
OK so here I am. I have a D15B2 DPFI L4 auto trans. I removed the engine and tranny today finally. The tranny is seperated from the engine and the torque converter and flywheel are off. I am waiting for the tranny, piston rings, D16A6 head and intake mani (which comes with all sensors, throttle body, distributor and fuel rail), gasket set, pedal assembly, shift linkage and shifter, stage 3 F1 clutch and 8.5 lb flywheel, D16Z6 metal head gasket, fuel injectors, resistor box, PM6 ECU, and I still need to convert the harness to MPFI. If anyone has any suggestions for further projects, let me know. Also, should I replace the rear main seal and the crank bearings? Or should I leave the crank alone and just replace the piston rings. This engine has 184,000 miles on it without a rebuild and it's a smoker. I need to get this D16A6 head and replace the valve seals, cam seals, and do a full valve adjustment on it. Also, if anyone wants a D16A1 head, let me know.
