Water in the trunk?
I looked at two preludes. One was a 2000 SH and the other was a 2000 base model. I popped open the trunk, looked where the spare tire is and noticed there was a little bit of water. Both ludes had water. I looked everywhere for cracks and water damage. Couldnt find anything. Is this a huge problem? Do you guys think its only the weahter stripping coming undone? Thanks for the help.

Same exact thing happened with my '97.
Except things slowly become worse, you'd see moisture in the right taillight, and passengers in the back right seat would get a wet *** from sitting there if it had rained recently.
I had the Honda dealership replace the gaskets in the trunk and haven't noticed any problems yet...

Never had water inside the light but only water in the trunk. I fix it by using thin weather stripping around the back of the lights.

or if you are lazy, you can throw a few sponges under the spare then fix the problem later. I personally havent found my leak. I havent noticed any water in my tail light, and I dont have the tools to get to my roof drains, so my temp solution for now is to throw to sponges in there.
I have this problem primarily with my DA. Make sure the drains for the sunroof are clear and are actually exiting outside of the car (mine were not). And replace both taillight gaskets, make sure both the serfaces are clean ( the taillight and trunk panel). This should hopefully fix your problem.
the drains are in the left and right compartment areas in the trunk....you have to remove the lining (sp).
just look them over, usually dirt and sediment sit at then end and dont flush out....all you really have to di is give the tube a squeeze and drit will start to fall out......seems like its backing up on you.
its actually a pretty simple fix that causes huge problems when left unattended

My Integra had water in its trunk and it turned out to be the taillight gaskets. I replaced them and sealed them up with silicon sealer and the leak stoped. I think this is a really common problem with Hondas. It will probably be easy to fix though.
ya in my accord I get that really bad it gets all wet like from the top my box for 12's is all wet on top like it isnt sealing right is there supposed to be weather stripping on the trunk lid and the body or just the body last winter I got mold in my trunk took a while to clean it up
