internals question *type-r*
my c5 lately only burns oil from say 8500-9000 in between there..
Never did a leakdown but compression test is steady 260 across all four cyls.
i usually change my oil every two months, i run 10w-30 mob 1 full syn, any ideas, i'm sure its my oil control rings, is that something i should worry about now since i plan on doing a rebuild in the up coming months..
i dont really burn that much oil probably 3/4's of a quart in between changes, i usually check my oil every two days anyway, the car is not really a daily driver, i only drive it on the weekends, since the wife and i got a new daily driver
But my question is..should i really be worried...? I've build some motors and i've been working with this for almost 3 years..i dont think i do but i've like to have some opinions..
should i switch to a heavier weight possible..but i was contiplating goin to 5w actually..i dunno.
HARDLY any signs of oil soot on my plugs as well ...i guess i could just be worring too much...
