15 or 16 inch rims
just debating if i should get 15 or 16 inch rota slipstreams for my civic. any input would be helpful, what would work well for auto x/track or drag, but not be ricy? thanks
I would actually recommend 15's. They are perfect for autoX (actually 14's even better) and tires are cheap and plentiful.
16's while looking nice, sometimes tend to make an ef look like it sits higher.

15's get my vote, often tad lighter and a great selection of tires I run 195/50R15s on my hatch looks sharp light as a fly and you can get so many kinds of tires for them.
16s look a little too large for my taste but also offer a ton of good choices for tires.
14s its harder to find a good tire.
If you really want to autox or drag slicks. 22" slicks for drags 13x9 for auto X.

Not trying to hijack cause those Slips are bad, but here's a pic of my '89 sedan with 15"x7" Drag DR16's (Rota GT3 knockoffs but lighter!, black w/ polished lip)...got them from JLB Motorsports for $550 with lugs...I love 'em.

15s. You really need at least a 50 series tread for performance and traction. I use to run 205 40 16 and 205 45 16 and absolutly hated them.
i have 16'' on my ef civic. and the only thing that i did wrong was got a 205 / 40 , it's almost a lowpro but they are azenis. I can't wait for them to wear out so i can get some 215/50's, i mean im scared to corner hard because the rim is soo close to the road

Almost every 15x6.5 or 7 I had I ran 205/50/15. You only need to go 195/50/15 if you're offset is screwy or you are super low (maybe). Other than that you should be fine.
http://www.edgeracing.com they are having the WTF sale right now and have some good prices on 15's. Look at the Flik Fuels they are good people that is where I got my wheels and tires.
