Default Shop question. What would you do?

Ok, I dropped my car of about 6 1/2 to 7 months ago. I was going to basic training for the Army, so I didnt mind dropping the car off for a while. The car already had a 6 point cage. Was dropping it off for a 12 point cage, to front frame rails, a parachute mount, fiberglass dash, and thats about it. So its been there for a little over 6 1/2 months. I cant get in contact with the shop. Its a reputable shop though. What should I do? Do I drive up to the shop and pick up the car, or see whats up? Also gave a deposit of 1500. Im getting pretty pissed off. Let me know. I think im just going to head up there tomorrow with a buddy and pick the car up.

What shop is it? I would drop by the shop and see what is up with your cars progress, don't get pushed around. I've been there, and waiting sucks, don't hesitated to take the car away!!!

How are there so many "reputable shops" that people can't get ahold of?

HAHA....

I would just go by and see what progress they have made. WHo knows it could be done for all you know. If its not either tell them, get it done by XXXX time or im coming to get it. If it is a "REPUTABLE SHOP" they will get the car done for you.

Agreed, just stop in. It's your car and why should you have to feel like the bad guy. Just it lay down to them that you want it done, and if they are reputable they will comply.

well, it is a reputable shop. Franks Custom Fiberglass. I have no doubt he does great work, as that is why I dropped my car off there. Its just getting a little old not getting any of my phone calls or e-mails returned. And I have no clue whats going on with my car. I'll be heading up there tomorrow with a trailer. So we'll see.
