do you have lights, accessories, etc? if not then its neither the starter nor the plugs..... if you have no power to the accessories then either your battery is shot (most common) or you blew your ignition fuse under the hood which is a special 80 amp fuse in the engine fuse box, or ignitoin switch is shot (the most rare occurrence of all these)....another possibility is a shitty ground that wont complete the circuit and allow power to pass through....

gaurantee it has nothin to do with your plugs, and when a starter goes you'll usually get some sort of clickin at the starter solenoid showing that there is power there but the solenoid wont engage the starter drive gear to spin the flywheel, so i doubt its the starter unless the ground is shitty at the starter...

i would start by inspecting all your grounds, the ignition fuse in the engine fuse box, and making sure your battery isnt completely dead if none of these solves your problem you might possibly be looking at a bad ignition switch or something else along those lines

well you should obviously replace your battery if its leaking...regardless if it has anything to do with your current problem or not....drop the 60 bucks and get that handled

as far as the fuse, look at the backside cover of the fuse panel...find the acronym IGN (ignition) and the corresponding fuse....the fuse doesnt look like a normal fuse, it is essentially a small box with the fused end visible thru the clear cover on it with metal prongs on both ends that must be screwed down into the fuse box....just make sure the link is still intact on the fuse

if it is, then start tracing your battery cables and inspect all your grounds....if those are all fine ( secure with no corrosion) i would start wondering about that ignition switch.

what year is your car?

depending on the production date (if it was a late model 97 tagged as a 98, or had some 97 parts on it) i would definately keep that ignition switch in mind. honda had a recall on them, whih they will still replace for you free of charge.

check out this link: https://www.ahm-ownerlink.com/...honda this is a customer service setup from honda for owners....register your car and your information, and it will let you know baiscally a free history of your car as well as recalls and if they were completed. very helpful, and its FREE.....but i would check that ignition switch recall out on there and see if someone already completed it on your car.

try jumping it off another car, if that works, well then your battery is bad. Your main fuse is under the hood and is a blue 100A fuse. Double check the connection that goes onto your starter and see if your car happened to be in the ignition recall that happened several years back

You have 2 options, either pull the starter off and have autozone, advanced auto,
etc. test it, or jump the starter yourself and see what it does.

It's pretty easy, your car doesn't even have to be on.

Take a piece of metal like a screwdriver and arch it
between the 2 nuts on the starter.

Make sure the clutch is in neutral though.

took my starter off and took it to get it checked at autozone...says its still good...but they told me to check if the starter is engaging the flywheel...i have an ACT 6 puck no sprung with the lightest flywheel they have...i think its 13 pounds not sure but its the lightest one....my clutch has been squeaking like its not grabbing the flywheel so is this a problem? help need asap.

Has anyone thought about his clutch not being engaged all the way? The lights would be on, and the car would not turnover then... Maybe I misread something, but that makes sense to me
