hey i got a b18a1 in my crx and its not running as fast as i know it can what do you think the prob. is with it? the computer, tranny, or ECU thanks

 

Your gonna have to give much more info then that. Poor performance can be caused by many things. Bad gas, dirty fuel injectors, contaminated fuel (I.E. burning oil, coolant, etc...) bad timing (too advanced/retarded), low compression, dirty air filter, bad spark plug(s)...your gonna have to give us a lil more info.

 

ok i just drop in a b18a1 and i got it back yesterday, the block is brand new the fuel injectors or new intake, headers, spark plugs is new.the compression is high. the only thing that might be bad is the gas becuase its been sitting in my car for about 8 monts. and another thing is that i looked at my ECU and its alittle bent. but everything about the motor is new thats why i was woundering what it could be.

 

8 month old gas? --> put some stabilizer in it or just burn it off and run seafoam through your fuel system. Your ECU is bent? Did I hear that correctly? Ummmm, get a new ECU?
