Default typical trap speeds for stock H22 in civic coupe??

Do you think a stock JDM h22 in a civic EX coupe with backseats is capable of trapping 103mph on street tires?

mods are intake, Dc header, thermal exhaust, VAFC.

I think there is more to this guys motor then what is being said and im just wanting some opinions from guys with a shitload more experience than I.

thanks

100 mph in a EH-style EX coupe. Just I/E. And that was on the slowest track we race at. It would have done maybe 3-4 mph more at the quicker ones.

i just dont get how he is trapping almost 10mph higher than me.....

i know i know, the 60ft is horrible. First time in 3 years that i been to the track and only got 3 runs in.....

Will a better 60ft yield a better MPH?

is that a coupe or you're prelude time slip?

A poor 60' will typically result in a higher mph.

thats my lude. He's not THAT much lighter than me but he is lighter and is running the Si wheels. I think i have my car down to around 2800lbs. I figure his car is around 25-2600lbs with the H installed. We raced from a roll on the way home and he started to pull on me a bit and all the sudden he just took off. It made no sense to me.

and my motors health isnt an issue.

300lbs is about 3 tenths. Same gear ratio's in both?

yea, same motor and tranny.

i know he is going to run a faster E.T. at the strip, but at almost 10mph difference?

Isn't that a little significant?

yes, but at the track there are many other variables that play a role in this scenario.

The day I drove the Civic I was talking about to 100 mph... there was a newer model prelude there that was trapping about 96-97 mph actually. So it was about a 4 mph difference.

What type of Prelude is this? 92-95? Or the newer style?

I traped in my civic hatch around 96-98 mph with a 13.8 on the 1/4 with bfg drags and a friend in his coupe on the same tires went 13.6 around the same mph. We have even ran in a h22 turbo integra with it poping out of gear a 15.0 at 130 mph. Anything is possible.
