alarm going crazy!!
anyone have any idea what can be causing this?? I have an autopage xt-59. once in a while it just goes crazy and goes offf for no apperant reason.

It could be many reasons, Low battery voltage, faulty door pins or triggers, schock sencer bad. Does your alarm have a mode to see what sencer is causing the false trigger. ie led flashes. I don't deal with autopage that much and don't have any program or manuals with me.
it has a botton on the side of it. and when i click on it. it blinks like crazy, the alarm came with the car so i really dotn know what its for. This happens once in a while i took of my battery just now beacuse it would seriosuly go off every 20 -40 secs

This is what I would do. Start looking in the market for a newer and better alarm. Find a company like dei or compustar. Pick a model that fits your needs and layer it with optional layers and make sure the install is good. How old is that alarm that you have and can you find the brain and get the model number off of it?
