Default come on 23 views and no answer!! what is my question too hard.step it up honda-tech!

im currently driven an 91 4dr h22a,when i first swapped the motor i was under the impression that i had all normal components motor,p13,ect.... but i noticed that i was not poppin vtec so i took it to a shop to find out what was going on. after some research i was told that i had an f22a automatic ecu. i was suggested to get a gsr chip p72 and he will chip it, so I did. i got the ecu chipped and he installed it. when the car turned on it would cut off barely staying above 300rpm. but when you give the car some gas it will clear up(above 4500-5000). but then afterwards it
will do the samething. so we took out the gsr chip and installed the f22a automatic back in and boom! everything back to normal. now im able to pop vtec but my car is still running off the wrong ecu. the guy suggested that it was my jectors because when using the gsr chip the car requires more fuel rather that using the f22 chip. i wanted to know if this is true?if so what size injectors should i use? and if its not the injectores can you give me some suggestions?

no i think hes right the injectors might be the problem because stock injectors for an H22a are, i believe, 310cc. the stock injectors for a 4th gen f22 are 240cc. That could explain the problem.

why not just getting the proper ECU and take it from there.... you have h22... so use P13 ecu...

yes p-13 ecu is what u need. and if somehting acting weird it is not the ecu at all. change ur resister box since it might be crapping out. and make sure your knock sensor is hooked up and everything. and since you had a automatic before i belive there is 3 wires you need to splice and rewire from the ecu.

This is untrue. There are no definitive markings on the outside of the injectors with which to identify them. And to the OP I dobut the problem is the injectors. I ran a bone stock P72 with my swap for a month and a half. The car idled and ran fine but The Iab and VTEC operation was all mixed up. i think the problem is the ECU itself. possibly some internal damage.
