Tried to look up in the archives, and I was just wondering....Is there a difference between JDM and USDM rear hatch?

the emblems on them are different. Other than that i dont think so.

i dont think the jdm had the rear whipper.
I think the glass is different also. I believe it's smoked or something.

No rear wiper, no rear window defroster...

No wiper, thinner smoked glass. about 1-2 kg lighter.

No rear wiper, no rear window defroster...
Mine has no rear wiper but its got a defroster (thankfully....)

Mine has no rear wiper but its got a defroster (thankfully....)
I thought they didn't have them...maybe only certain years?

Yeah but what if it is really cold on the track, and you can't defrost the rear hatch?

I believe the defroster was optional just like A/C and airbags.
Also the smoked rear qtr and rear hatch glass is normally optional and was part of comfort packages. I believe the rear wiper and defroster and smoke glass was part of that package. Though unless you never drove the car in the winter I would want defroster in Japan as it does snow in the winters there.

My friend just bought a JDM rear hatch, it has the tinted glass but no wiper.
