fuel cut off on b16

Default fuel cut off on b16

my fuel cut off is at 117 mph on the stock ecu. Is this normal?

no, it think its 112, but yes there is a fuel cut on the stock ECU

Usually if you get it chipped they will remove the fuel cut, give you a better fuel map, move your vtec engagment point, raise your rev limiter, and sometimes disable other sensors.

yes its normal that it cuts off at around 180-185km/h, its a speedlimiter imposed on all JDM cars

one way to avoid this is to rechip as many have stated or buy a speed limiter disabler made by few compaines (HKS, Apex and few others)
