I bought a B20B4 block with high compression endyn pistons, and eagles rods in it. I mated it with my stock LS head.
I didn't have the head milled and just tossed it back on the new block. Now it has a headgasket leak, I bought ARP headstuds for the LS head, but they didn't help any. I know its leaking at the gasket because theres coolant in the oil. And it blows thick white smoke that will linger in the air for awhile.
Next on the list is to take the head off and get it milled and put another gasket on. Anyone have any other insight on what else could be a problem.
I was wondering if I would have any piston slap with the high compression pistons. The block was used for a B20/VTEC set up before I bought it. It had a GSR head on it.
TIA
