I just got the Injen CAI for my RSX(5spd) and just have a little question on installing them. I read the instructions already, but for the fender lining part where you have to cut 4 by 5 inch... is the fender lining rubber/plastic/metal?

Word of advice, use a dremel. Trace it out first the best you can, and dremel it out. You dont want to make the whole too big.

 

i have the same on my ep3.Its hard plastic & maybe the DIY mode is a bit of a mess. Couldnt yr provider install it? Awesome sound by the way!!

 

yeah its really hard plastic, I cut mine using a carpet cutter which is really sharp but if i could do it again i probabley would have invested in a dremel because it would make cutting much easier not to mention cleaner. good luck.
