Default BIg Question!!

I have been looking for the 96-00 Civic EX gauge cluster, I have been to e-bay tons of times and have been out bidded on the damn thing to many times. But in the end it is pissing me off because I have had no luck getting my hands on one. I was thinking will a Auto EX gauge cluster work in place for the five speed gauge cluster ? Will it give me a check light if I use the Auto gauge cluster instead of the stick one. Sorry about all the questions its just I had my car stolen and I can't smog the car without the gauge cluster. If some of you guys can help that would be great.

you could use an auto cluster but it would look extremely homosexual. why not use a stock cluster or even a teg cluster. lots of options out there

Well I dont care if it looks stupid, its really not for show I need to get the cluster because I cant see my gas cant see my speed or anything else that is there. I was just asking if I hook up the auto cluster and will everything work right and not mess up. It is a really big question becuae I need to get smog done and it is slowing me down because I really dont know if I can use the auto or not. But if you guys are saying that I can then y not use it =P.
