Default H22A Question

Are the stock pistons on a 2.2 A full float wrist pin or a press pinn.
Reasonbeing, I would like to get forged pistons and still utillze my stock rods.

Are the stock rods of any substantial strenght. What are there limits?

Running 11.0-1 pistons ona type S, and wondering how much work can be done and still be able to use pump gas on a regular basis. Any help would be absolutly cool.... Thanks..

If you've seen the other posts. If your going to run forged pistons on an H series motor your going to need to resleeve the block. I ran into the same problem..

Press pinn, you need to press the pin out w/ a hydraulic press.

Why did you need to re-sleeve the block, Why cant you hone the cylinders / new rings and be good to go?

The H22a1 had pressed wrist pins. The H22a4 has floating wrist pins held in with clips.
