Ok heres the story:Doing a mini-me swap and I got a real good deal on an AEM universal FPR,paid pretty much next to nothing and they usually go for over $100.00 so thats why I bought it.Plus it looks good.
Anyhow,I'm using a Z6 fuel rail and I can't figure out how I'd hook it up.I'm assuming I'm going to have to buy an aftermarket fuel rail which is fine but would I run into the same problem?? Do you have to buy a fuel rail and fpr for the same motor or can I get a different fuel rail and mate the aem fpr on that rail?? Any help would be appreciated and probably save me some $$$$ too!! Thanks in advance.
Heres a pic of the FPR I was trying to hook up to my Z6 fuel rail that just isn't going to work because of the mounting of the stock fpr over the last fuel injector.

those aem universal fpr's dont mount normally to the fuel rail like most direct fit fpr's do.....you can mount it on the firewall if you want ,,,or maybe sell that thing and get a fpr specifically for the d16z6 fuel rail.

I know the easy thing to do would buy a direct fit,but like I said I got a good deal and money's tight. If I can use this I'd like to but I guess if I can't then oh well.I just don't know what I would do with the last hole on the stock fuel rail that the stock fpr bolts too.If that wasn't there I know I could rig something up. I guess you'd have to be looking at the fuel rail with the stock fpr pulled off to see what I'm talking about.Maybe I'll put up a pic later.

So how would I plug up the hole for the stock fpr?? I can't just leave it on there???</TD></TR></TABLE>
they're meant to be used with an aftermarket or modified fuel rail that excepts a/n fittings/lines........
to look like this

Ok in looking at my fuel rail though,I'm not sure how I'd run the line from the fuel rail to the FPR?? Where the stock FPR mounts to the rail it has two threaded holes on either side of the hole that is above the last fuel injector?? Do I get it threaded??? Do you know what I mean??? In that picture you posted the fuel line comes out of the top of the rail and over to the fpr, don't know how I could do that with the fuel rail I have because the only holes that are threaded are the two that holds the fpr to the rail???? Any ideas??
Just checked out ebay and I came across this,I think this is exactly what I need........what are the chances?????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
