Default 00 CRV misfiring on 3 cylinders

my crv shakes at idle, but seems to be ok when its accelerating. does anyone have any idea what could be wrong?

you need to remove the head and have the valves re- seated. Works every time. It's not cheap to have it done but it works

yeah i bought a 00 crv with this same problem i just took the head off and slapped a ls head on my motor and its perfect.

yes you can. thats exactly what i did. the b20 block with LS head will run perfect with the stock ecu.

hey thanks..and one more question. what about when i build the ls head? ..cams etc.? new ecu or you can't do it with a auto crv? thanks.

can i swap the jdm b18b in my crv? and if so do i need a jdm ecu? .. i mean the whole engine...

Why do that? less torque.

We still get these in all the time @ work. Just get a new (used) head for the B20...I have one for sale off a JDM B20 if your interested - cheap + shipping. Either way just replace the head....
