Default B20 Block B18B head?

since i dont' have much cash, i was wondering if the b18b head would bolt on without any modification? I know that the LS's Redline is @ 6300 compared to the B20's 5,400rpm, so given that the valvetrain would be a little better and geared towards a little higher revving? Would this be a good match with a GS-R tranny? Which ECU would i use LS? or a chipped version? I plan on going Superchargin in the near future, i am only 16 so my budget is limited.

SEARCH! you info on the b20 and b18 redlines are wrong, ls and b20 heads are nearly identical. u would use an ls ecu... and a gsr tranny would be better to use in some situations.. (shorter gear ratios)

the valve relieve on the b18 head is a couple mm bigger in diameter and ls cam lift are a bit higher. It's an good mod consider how cheap ls head are. I m talking about the P8R head, not sure about the pr4 or the p75 ls head.

Man that thing gets lower every time someone posted....

I think you would better off spending money on a pair of LS (b18B) cams...will offer more improvement than the LS head upgrade, because as said they are identical. Although you will need a LS compatible intake manifold, as the 97-98 B20B manifolds are like 18 feet tall and wont clear the hood line....but they sure look cool

EDIT: You'll want a full manifold asembly, as the B20 fuel rail, while looking cooler, will need some manipulation to fit on the LS manifold, also the B18B throttle body is slightly bigger (at least in my experience of a B20B versus B18B)
