Hi, I'm just wondering about some fog lights I installed recently on my car. They are Blue LED Fogs and look really nice but when I showed my friend, he said they were illegal because the cops can mark you down for immitating one. I never heard of this before and so did my friend who helped me install it. I contacted the person who sold me it and heard that blue lights are for cops only but never heard of ne1 who bought blue LED's got the problem of getting pulled over yet unless its strobe lights. Tell me what you guys think/know. I gladly appreciate the help.

no blue lights in the front or rear... that is reserved for EMERGENCY vehicles only

 

i don't know why you would do that...that's pretty ricey, imo, but whatever floats your boat.

stick with bright white/HID fogs, but yellow fogs are sexy too

 

If they are a REALLY light blue it would be okay, but thats about as light as the sky gets... Other than that, not DOT legal.

 

hey lay off lol blue is tight , but yea unfortunely its illegal , but hey put under car neon lights and same deal .... just turn off the switch or sometin lol , but yea yellow is 2nd to best

 

hmm...damn, that sucks, luckily no cop saw them on with me while I didn't know about it, ahaha...I guess I better do that because it didn't come with a switch so what I did was connect it so when I turn on my parking lights and headlights, it goes on with it...I guess I better get a switch asap and connect it to that, ahaha...I really like it tho...damn, sucks

 

Do they light up blue? I have some fogs that look blue when they are off but they light up white when you turn them on.
