My turn... Someone tried to break in to my R this afternoon in broad daylight

They tried prying between the door and A-pillar, but either gave up, or were scared away. Now I'm thinking of leaving it garaged at home, and getting a beater for the commute...

Have you checked with merchants in the area your car was parked and asked if they could review thier survalence tapes (if any)?

 

better disable your power locks (do a search)

I think I'll get a ride into work today, disable those power locks this weekend, and go beater shopping ASAP. At least I've still got my car!
