Default Good Coaxial speakers?

What are some good 2 or 3 way speakers in 6.5" for a minivan?

If you don't want to spend alot get some Pioneer coaxials or some Infinity coaxials.

Infinities need an amp right?- 2OHM...The Alpine HU can only output 4 OHM's
What about MTX, JL, Diamond, Focal, Eclipse or Boston?

Not all infinities speakers are two ohm. Just the series your friend is looking at. All the brands you mentioned make good dependable speakers.

JL Audio XR series coaxials are nice. I have a pair in my dad's car right now. I chose them because of the silk dome tweet and the external crossover. I think most coaxials dont have a low-pass filter on the mid so you'll get a lot of cone breakup
